Meet the Artists
Avian, Owner
Avian is a Virginia native who has grown up with a love of art her entire life. She is a painter, printmaker, and mixed media collage artist. After stumbling upon face painting through volunteering for a church Fall Festival, over 18 years ago, she quickly grew to love this vehicle of creative expression and tried to soak up as much knowledge as she could about it. She truly takes pride in having the honor of bestowing one-of-kind masterpieces on every little bright, beautiful face she gets the pleasure of putting a smile on.
Alyse, Artist
Alyse is a local high school student who joined the Paint Crazy team when she was just 12 years old volunteering and trying to learn every art technique we had to offer. She loves experimenting with designs and techniques and is our resident temporary tattoo and henna artist. She enjoys drawing and digital arts and plans to pursue a degree in graphic design at VCU once she graduates. She loves art and the freedom of expression it gives her.
Ava, Artist
Ava is a local high school student who has been volunteering with the Paint Crazy team since she was 7 years old as the mascot Eunice the Unicorn and then as a face painter and temporary tattoo artist. She is now our resident transfer and glitter tattoo artist because glitz and glam are her jam! She is a dedicated thespian and has made chorus and theater a focal point of her educational career. She hopes to one day attend JMU to obtain a science-related degree once she graduates. She enjoys making pretty things and seeing the kids smile.
